We at Plano Family Clinic wanted to give you an update below on the status of the practice during the current COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation.
During this difficult time, we have made adjustments to our practice in order to ensure the health and safety of you a patients, our staff, and our providers.
We have implemented the following procedures in our clinic:
Pre-Screening Questionnaire - We will ask you re-screening questions regarding symptoms and exposure to COVID-19.
Virtual Appointment Scheduling - In order to ensure we are able to properly disinfect and adhere to Social Distancing Guidelines set forth by the CDC, we will try to schedule virtual visits when possible. In the event that you will need to come
in to our clinic, we will continue to adhere to health and safety guidelines.
Temperature- Temperatures will be taken upon entering the clinic of all patients and providers.
Face Covering - We are requiring everyone entering our clinic to wear some type of facial covering such as a homemade mask, scarf, bandanna, or handkerchief. Our providers and staff will also be wearing face masks.
Wash hands and sanitize - Please wash or sanitize your hands before entering the clinic. Try to bring your own hand sanitizer. It is encouraged that you wash or sanitize your hands as you leave our clinic as well.
Social Distancing - We are limiting the number of patients in our office at any given time. We are asking that only the patient enters our clinic for their visit. Please ask the person with your patient to stay in their car. We can call them if we need their assistance. We currently cannot take any walk-in’s. We will be seeing scheduled patients only.
Thank you for your support and understanding during these tough times. Your health and safety is always our top priority. Please stay safe and healthy.
